Mavala Double-Lash

Mavala is a formulation produced in Switzerland which comes in a 0.33 oz sized bottle that lasts for about 6 months upon daily usage. Proper application is by removing all make up and applying before going to bed. to the base of the eyelashes to ensure that the product penetrates to the roots. Results are said to occur within 2 to 3 weeks.

Out of all the products we have reviewed, Mavala is the cheapest at around $16.50 in most stores. But how does it stack up against the more expensive brands? Unfortunately, this is a similar product to Talika in that it acts more like a volumizer and conditioner rather than actual growth. It certainly has received positive responses in terms of handling lashes that have deteriorated due to mascara abuse, however it falls short for those of you who have healthy lashes already.

If you have damaged lashes, we do recommend you try out this product especially since it is a much cheaper alternative. However if you're looking for actual eyelash growth, it would be best to select one of the other products we have reviewed.

Positives

  • Cheapest alternative to other eyelash growth products
  • Made of natural ingredients
  • Does not cause any irritation

Negatives

  • Acts more like a conditioner than an eyelash growth product
  • Only provides any sort of results to lashes that are already damaged.

I used this product last year for a few months, and as other reviewers have noticed, it's more of a lash conditioning product. As for the growth, i think it's more of a placebo effect for some people. I noticed that my bottom lashes were fuller, but nothing astonishing. On the positive side, there was no eye irritation in my case, but i don't think i'll be repurchasing anytime soon.
